Baby updates...

At almost 20 weeks, about 4 months and some weeks, my doctor told me that I'm overweight by a pound. WAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! (dejavu!) Most reaction I get to hear when people see me is "Are you really pregnant? You just look bloated!" *grins* By the way, I guess they reacted this way because some of them saw my sister who was big specially on her third child, maybe they compare me to her and knowing that my family gets bigger when pregnant. I really find it funny when I learned that I am a pound overweight. *giggle* So far so good, no complications... for now. My baby's heartbeat is 160 bpm and FV (what does FV stands for? All I know is that it's the measurement from my navel up to somewhere down there, enlighten me please) 16cm. What's my weight now? Secret! :p

After one month...

Wow! That long!!!

What's new? Nothing, still freaking hot and it's May already. When is it going to start to rain (hubby praying in the background, not tomorrow nor on Sunday, pretty please).

About me? I'm almost on my 18th week. I feel heavy specially when sleeping. I asked hubby if he can be the one to carry my tummy/the baby at nights. hehehe!

Oh, one time last week I think when I was taking a bath, I noticed that I can't see my feet anymore when standing. My view is being blocked by my big tummy. Well, it's not yet that big but, I have short feet (for a 5'5" tall girl, mwihihihi). Some say that I don't look like pregnant or for almost 5 months, I look 2-3 months pregnant. According to them, I just look bloated. My sister een commented that her tummy is way bigger than mine to think she's not pregnant. *grins* I get amused sometimes since I know for a fact that our family tends to get really big when pregnant (and even after giving birth!)except for one of my mom's sister. I would like to think that I got my built from her. But I think I'm just a late bloomer! HAHAHAHA!!! I'm also being careful with what I take specially with rice. Last year I was diagnosed that at one point, my sugar level went beyond the border. According to my Endocrinologist, I have a bigger chance of getting Gestational Diabetes when I get pregnant. She told me that once I get pregnant, I should ask my OB Gyne to have me check for my sugar level. I did and thank God I got normal results. I had another Oral Glucose Challenge Test (OGCT) last Tuesday, I don't want surprises so I asked for it! It's like taking it every trimester. I tried testing last last week (with my home testing kit), I think I got an upper limit sugar level result. It was the same instance when I had my consultation with my Endocrinologist last year. I have an upper limit sugar level when I wake up in the morning but have a normal sugar level within the day. I don't want to wait for that day that I'd learn that my sugar level is beyond the limit.

By the way, last year's result tells me that I'm not diabetic but I'm beyond the safe margin. I forgot the doctor's term for it but it's like I'm in the midrange, between normal and diabetic. I went beyond the upper limit of a normal result but it's not in the diabetic range. Ay, ang gulo!

What else? *teehee* This is not funn but I smiled when I saw hubby's reaction. He got terrified and if it's just possible, he looks as if he had wide eyes and people downstairs got disturbed with that happened. I almost fell from the stairs. Good think I have a strong grip. I was able to hold on to the handle but it was really scary. Ayun, I let hamey went ahead of me. I'm more careful now. mahirap na no!

No more news. I'm going back to the clinic later to get my OGCT result. I'm still thinking if I'm going back to my doctor even if I get a normal result. Hehehe. Magpapalamig na din ako sa SM! It's really hot here!

O siya, until next month again! wahahahaha!!!!
