baby's new trick

It's not that I don't like it... it's more of, nakakakiliti na feeling. She now knows stronger karate moves and also how to tickle mommy by rubbing my insides. Mas madalas na nga yung hagod feeling kesa kicks, ok lang naman talaga. Request ko lang pag tutulog na kami, sipa na lang. Yung kiliti, ay naku, d ako makagawa ng tulog, I look nuts giggling at night, hehe! Pero ang sarap talaga ng feeling kahit sipa or hagod. Next trick stretching na nakaka abot na kung saan saan... Yikes!

little twin stars

I was cleaning my closet last time and saw my little twin stars baby bag. Maliit lang sya na color pink, as far as I can remember, ang laman nun are toiletries na pang bata. Pink hair brush, pink musical toothbrush, small (solid) soap container and parang small plastic pouch na lalagyan ng tissue. Wala na yung mga contents, it's just the bag. I smiled when I saw it. Kept it in one of my bags, papalabhan ko and ibibigay ko sa baby ko. Hay, ang cute! Meron pa bang mga little twin stars items sa mall? Hmmm... will check that when it's time to shop for baby stuff. Gusto ko din ng carebears kaso pang malalaking kids na yung nakikita kong stuff. Sana meron pang little twin stars no. *dreaming*

a milestone for hamey...

Hamey felt the baby kick for the first time last night! Buti naman! Baby's been kicking since last month kaso pag kick sya tapos papahawak ko k hamey ang stomach ko para i-feel nya, nawawala... HAHAHAHA!!! E naaawa naman ako kasi gusto ko ding i-share sana sa kanya yung experience. Last night, the baby is kinda active. Usually kasi makakaramdam ako ng dalawang magkasunod na mafi-feel mo outside tapos pause, tapos sa loob mo mararamdaman yung galaw tapos maya maya sa labas ulit. Mahirap timingan ba kung makiki feel ka lang. So since kagabi napansin ko parang ang likot nya, pina feel ko k hamey. Actually, busy si hamey with his usual NBA PS2 game... so dinikit ko yung tsan ko sa likod nya. D nya maramdaman. Nung nag pause sya at ni feel nya with his hand ang stomach ko, wala. Walang nangyari. wahahaha!!! Sabi ko, baka sabi ng anak mo sa yo: "bahala ka, d naman full attention bigay mo sa kin, kahati ko NBA *HMP!*" mwehehehe!!! So ayun, since d nya maramdaman, naglaro na lang sya ulit. nung naglilikot na si baby ulit, nilapat ko ulit tsan ko sa likod nya. AYUN! Bull's Eye!!! naramdaman din nya, e ang lakas naman kaya nung sipa! Syempre nilagyan ko ng dialogue ulit, "Matulog na daw tayo, lagi ka na lang NBA!" HAHAHAHA!!!! Natulog na nga kami after a few minutes. teehee!

Ok, first of all, we had an ultrasound this afternoon. It almost got postponed until next Saturday since my OB (who's also an Ultrasonologist) is on vacation and won't be back until the 15th. Grabe, we were really looking forward for this day since we really want to know if the baby is doing good and if she's a girl or if he's a boy. We only report to my doctor's clinic every Saturday since it's near our place and hamey doesn't have work on weekends and my doctor's schedule in Asian are on weekdays. So anyway, I have her assistant's number and called her to check if we can have an ultrasound at Asian without my OB's request. She told me she can make the request since it's going to be performed there but another doctor's going to attend to me.

Before going to Asian, we had some time to window shop for baby stuff. Checked the price of bibs, onesies, diapers, cribs, strollers, etc. etc. Then we had lunch at home then went to ATC to check other baby stuff there. I saw and liked one crib worth PHP20,000.00 but it's a crib convertible to toddler bed already. Nice no?

Ok, back to my story. Went to Asian to have my (2D) ultrasound. The suspense makes me ppe. We waited long for the elevator going up to my OB's clinic. I have to get the request from my doctor's assistant and if I wasn't pregnant, I'll just use the stairs. Hehehehe!!!

Now the exciting part. I really like to have a 3D ultrasound instead of the 2D since I really can't figure out the image in a 2D ultrasound. It's a Rachel Green experience. Hehehehe!!!

WOW!!! They have a 21" TV in front of the bed unlike in the clinic, you and doctor shares the monitor which is really difficult for the patient to see! Astig! (Sorry this sound like a blondie moment for me) Anyway, according to the doctor, everything is ok. According to her, it seems that I don't have problems with my pregnancy and she thinks I won't have any in the next more months (nice to hear that). When the usual check of measurements are done, we checked one by one for the parts of the body. CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was on instance where the baby's arm is covering her face. The doctor shook my bely to probably signal the baby to move. Base from the ultrasound, it looks like she got hamey's lips and nose. (HAHAHA!!! O how I wish she gets her father's nose insted of mine, flat e. wahahahaha!!!!!) The doctor checked the head, the heart which she even showed the 4 chambers, galing talaga! Then the stomach, liver or kidney... I can't actually remember which, hehe! Then the thigh bone. It looks like she has a long thigh bones. I think my baby is going to be tall. Well, it won't be a surprise since both hamey and I are kind of tall.

Now the gender! The doctor saw it at one time but she wasn't able to show us since the baby crossed her les, shy! (like mom! mwehehehe) The doctor shook my belly again to make the baby move. You know what my baby did? The baby KICKED!! HAHAHAHA!!! I laughed when I saw from the legs move from the monitor and at the same time, I felt it. The baby got irritated! CUTE!!!!

What's the baby's gender? 85% sure that the baby is a... GIRL!!!! MELDITA JR!!!!!! I'm really excited! And hamey's funny comment: "Naku! Madaming sapatos nanaman ito!!!" (Oh, no, means more shoes!!!!) HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
