Last night, we tried weaning Vera from the breast. We prepared 3 bottles for her 9pm, 12am, 6am milk intake. I stayed with her in her room until she fell asleep. I slept for awhile with her and at around 10pm, yaya Jing came and I transferred to our room. We were successful, Vera didn’t cry looking for me. What a relief huh? Well, the funny thing here is that, I wasn’t able to sleep last night. I was anxious and waiting for her to cry (not that I want her to). To my great surprise, she didn’t and I was able to sleep around 1:30AM. At 5:30AM, I transferred to Vera’s room again and I was even the one who gave her her 6AM milk. She’ll be sleeping with us again tonight. I hope she will still accept the bottled milk even if I’m the one who’s going to give it to her.
