Bloggerwave Opportunity

I learned about Bloggerwave thru Che's blog. Since I am looking for ways to earn more money, I tried joining two days ago and thankfully, my blog was approved.

Bloggerwave is aiming to be Europes biggest advertsing media on blogs.
And as it happens, I would be glad to be part of it.

new do

Vera and I got a new do which is almost identical. Hers looks better though! *grins* It's her first time to have a hair cut so i took some pictures.

She was behaved all the time unlike my nephew, who was squirming on his first visit to the barber. Well, I can't really compare the experience since my nephew was probably scared of the sound of the razor.

Here's Vera's new look. Lumabas lalo ang pagka singkit no?

Reminiscing...

We're almost married for 4 years. We've been together for about 10 years. We tied the knot on our 7th year together as a couple. He proposed on my birthday, we were on our 5th year then.

On our 6th year together as a couple, we begun preparing for the wedding. I We did all the researching and designing together. I We had difficulties in deciding on what kind of wedding invitation to get. There are so many kinds to choose from. Do I we like a classic invitation? Do I we like a unique wedding invitation? We settled for a unique one.

Here's a picture of our modern wedding invitation.

Does your family have a healthcare insurance?

Part of being an employee is the privilege of having a healthcare insurance. Since I'm a SAHW/M, I don't get to have this privilege. Hubby though gets one for the whole family.

When he was assigned in the states, we were also fully covered by their healthcare insurance there. It's way much better compared here since it also covers the immunization fees for Vera which is not included here in our country.

One healthcare provider I got to see in the US is Advantage Healthcare. It offers different types of plans. As a mother, I would like my whole family to be fully covered. They offer Family Insurance Policies. Why not check their Insurance rates and see if it fits your budget.

a way to earn

I've been seeing more blogger friends doing pay per post entries in their blogs. Recently, I read from em's blog that she's going to join blogsvertise. I think she's already a member and started posting for the cash. She got the idea from fellow bloggers, "blogsvertise as their #1 recommended site that offers paid blogging."

Well, hopefully I get approved to this. This can be my temporary career while searching for the real job.

the weaning chronicles part 2

Vera slept again with us last night. I was able to give her her 12AM milk with out a problem. Great! Again, another funny experience. She's having problem with sleeping recently since she has colds. I felt guilty and thought that it's not yet the right time to wean her from the breast (yeah, because of the colds). So at 4AM, when I thought she was asking for milk, I gave her breast milk again! *grins* Yeah I know... I think this I'm the one having a separation anxiety, hahaha!!!

the weaning chronicles

Last night, we tried weaning Vera from the breast. We prepared 3 bottles for her 9pm, 12am, 6am milk intake. I stayed with her in her room until she fell asleep. I slept for awhile with her and at around 10pm, yaya Jing came and I transferred to our room. We were successful, Vera didn't cry looking for me. What a relief huh? Well, the funny thing here is that, I wasn't able to sleep last night. I was anxious and waiting for her to cry (not that I want her to). To my great surprise, she didn't and I was able to sleep around 1:30AM. At 5:30AM, I transferred to Vera's room again and I was even the one who gave her her 6AM milk. She'll be sleeping with us again tonight. I hope she will still accept the bottled milk even if I'm the one who's going to give it to her.

At long last!!!

Vera was able to utter the words, mommy! Not once, not twice but more than enough to make me smile! *sigh*

sign of the cross

I forgot when I started teaching Vera how to do the sign of the cross but two nights ago, she was able to do it on her own. It was not perfect but manageable. We try to pray to Papa Jesus every night before she goes to sleep. After praying, she keeps on doing the sign of the cross until she got sleepy. She won't do it not unless I say it and she "cries" when I don't. Hopefully this one will be a routine for us which she will be the one to remind me of doing.

New Discovery

Vera discovered something new today. She didn't poop yesterday so we're waiting for her to poop this morning. After having lunch, she took her Mickey Mouse doll for a stroll (around the house). We noticed she stopped and squat under the small round table in the kitchen where her yayas are eating. She's silent and concentrating. She's pooping! I think it's easier for her to poop while squatting than pooping while seated in her high chair (she usually poops during/after eating while still in her high chair).

Let see if she's gonna do it again. *grins*

(F)ish

While watching Elmo awhile ago, Vera shouted ish and points at the tv. She was right, there's a fish, Elmo's gold fish.

It's good to know that she knows what a (f)ish is.
