What happened 2 days ago?

It was my **th birthday 2 days ago. It really started great but ended a crap with just one person starting and ending my day like that. I'm/We're doing great now but 2007 really is one hell of a year that I really want to forget!

At around midnight, hamey arrived from work. He kissed and greeted me a Happy Birthday, yipeee! Kilig!

After a few minutes, my best friend texted and greeted me too. Thanks Shaui!

I woke up at about 4am to pee (and do a HPT - negative, can somebody remind me to post about this *grins*).

Waited and played Yoshi's Island (HAHAHA!) for about an hour.

Prepared and got dressed for Church.

I was suppose to go to the gym for my belly dancing class but opted to stay at home. Nakakatamad ang ulan!

Went to LTO office in ATC at about 8:30AM to renew my driver's license. Off-line, bad trip! I just had my mandatory drug test, medical exam and picture taken.

Went straight to David's for a new haircut.

Lunch time, meet up with my family and relatives @ SM. Craving for a spring chicken and Fresh Lumpiang Ubod of Max's.

Had fun.

Called LTO at around 3PM, yipeee, online na! Got my renewed license in less than 30 minutes.

Mirienda time. Street Kiddy Party held in our garage since it was still raining.

7PM. Dinner date with hamey.

After the dinner, all hell broke loose. Blah! blah! Cry! cry! blah! blah! Cry! cry!

around 9PM, naglayas ako! I can't take it anymore, I needed to shout and cry all the pain. Where did I go? One place where I always go when I am in deep sh**.

Went home around 10:30PM

I never really plan to do anything for my birthday. I really feel blue about my relationship with hamey. But I was actually excited with our date since I never really expected that he'd agree to take me out. All in all, if things were still the same, I mean we're still not in good terms, I'd say it was really a crappy day. But all in all, I had fun spending time with my family and relatives. It's great to be **!

I'll post some pictures later.

update: picture!!!

Yipeeeeee!!!!

What a great way to start 2008. I tried joining in PPP last September and was denied at first. I tried again about a week ago and thankfully, after correcting somethings, I was approved. Wahoo!

I have heard so many good stuff about them from my blogging friends. Thank you to Em and Kitts for explaining this to me. From Em, I learned that some of the stay at home wives/moms (SAHW/M) we know earn extra cash from sites like PPP. Kitts even had the opportunity to spend her money on a vacation with her hubby. And as far as I know, Toni was able to use some of her earnings from blogging for Lance’s first birthday.

I heard about this even before it actually bloomed. My best friend was actually persuading me even before I got pregnant to get serious with blogging and make money out of it. There are just some blog ethics I have to follow which means I have to redirect the focus of my blog. Perhaps, if I started way back then, most probably I have tons and tons of new shoes now. Oooohhhh!!! *day dreaming here*

Looking forward to a great 2008 with lots of opportunities from PayPerPost. I think this is going to be an exciting year for me. Hello new shoes, hello new clothes.

Good luck charm

I've tried joining contests, buying sweepstakes, betting on Lotto, bidding on ebay and never did I had the chance to win anything.

When we were in the US, I tried filling up online forms for free samples or free gifts. It was nice. I actually get excited when there's a new mail for me. I get something and it's not from any contests. It feels like winning. *teehee*

Now I chance upon b4p, a user friendly online game where you guess the lowest unique number in order to win. There's an option for players to play online and thru mobile phones. One also earns a token to use in the b4p Arcade where they can earn cash prizes and reward points.

Hmmm, sounds good! I need to find my good luck charm first. *grins*

Corned Beef Macaroni

I opened a can of ravioli pasta the other night. Since it doesn't really taste that good, I added a can of Hunt's tomato sauce, pepper and some spices. We were able to consume all the ravioli that night but there was still huge amount of sauce left. So what I did was to buy a 400g macaroni for the extra sauce we have. I added cheese and a few sliced hotdogs. When I was about to finish, I realized that my macaroni pasta looks dull, walang kalaman laman. My mom suggested that we add corned beef. Huh? So, ok, we tried. Aba! Masarap nga! So there, another good food experiment. Try it, and you might like it.

A wonderful gift this Christmas! Thanks Em for this. I'm passing this on to all my blogging friends! Merry Christmas!

A Christmas Gift

I've been tagged and gifted by Em and I'm passing this one to all my blogging Friends! If you find your name in the left sidebar, then this is for you. If not, but you still consider my friend (as I've posted earlier, I've lost some links) please let me know so I can update my list (and I'm sorry for losing your link).

here goes:

Make a paragraph or two regarding your personal meaning of Christmas, below the paragraph of the one who tagged you and you may put your name at the end of the paragraph linking back to your blog or right to the post of this particular tag. Then you tag as many as you can

Start copy here:

Christmas for me is the ultimate reminder on how much God loves us, that He gave His only Son Jesus Christ to be our Savior. For me, its a celebration of love and a time to share our blessings to others.. a time for giving and reaching out to the less fortunate and it's also a wonderful time to be with your family. Christmas is not just all about santa claus or the gifts that you will receive or for shopping, we should always remember that Jesus is the reason for the season and let us reflect on how much God loves us. - Just Let Go/Pieces of Me

Christmas is about giving love, forgiving. This remind us how lucky and how God love us when he gave us his only son Jesus Christ. A time for sharing our blessing to our family, friends and to others. - Celebrate Life/My Journey.

Christmas for me is not the new things that we have and enjoying the bounties in life but remembering that someone is born to redeem us from our sins and making sure of our salvation Teebob.

The true meaning of christmas for me is sharing, giving, expressing love to one another, and remebering that there is one person up there, who is born on the 25th of december to save us from everything . A lot of people told me that christmas is for kids. yes, it's true but I prefer to say that christmas is for everybody and sharing love to one another is the keyword remeber, "you can give without loving but you can't love without giving ". Alaverde33

Christmas is an annual holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus. The date of the celebration is traditional and is not considered to be his actual date of birth. Christmas festivities often combine the commemoration of Jesus birth with various secular customs, many of which have been influenced by earlier winter festivals. In most places around the world Christmas day happens on December 25. It's a special time of the year - a season of love and a season of giving. A time to share, to give and of course to receive a wonderful gift from beloved..Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

As the word Christmas itself convey, this day is the celebration of Christ. It's his day since this is the day we celebrate his birthday. Everything we do on this day should be in his honor...just like we get the honor when we celebrate our birthdays. So do what you normally do on this day but remember to give the honor to the celebrant himself, Christ. Juliana of Pinay Wahm and Teacher's Corner

Christmas for me is a time for selflessness. Its a time to reach out to family and friends in the spirit of peace and humility. Christmas is also for every child and the child in every grown up. More than receiving, its a wonderful thing to give this season. Giving doesn't have to be in the form of material things, but most importantly its the gift of time and unconditional love that counts. Indeed, Christ is the reason for this season.... - Abby of Mom And The City

Christmas for me is counting our blessings for the year that was and sharing every blessing we have to our loved ones. And most of all Christmas is for thanking Christ for giving us his only life. Christmas is beyond gift giving and more of love, forgiveness and prayers. - Something Purple

Christmas for me is the time to reflect and be thankful for all our blessings and trying to share it with others. It is all about new hope, new beginnings. - mEldita

Fetish

I have a thing for underpants since last year. I have about 3 dozens of it. I don't know if it's few or just about the right number of underwear one must have. But I definitely want different patterns and kinds. Now, I'm into sexy bra. Yeah! Yeah! What's with the bra postings with me? Well, I just want to feel, ahm, sexy. I gain a lot when I got pregnant and I'm kind of insecure with my body right now. I find it, I think, therapeutic to buy and wear sexy lingeries. HAHAHAHA!!!

Anyway, I saw this Ceriso Spot Basque lingerie in Marks and Spencer last Sunday, and I was tempted to buy it. I didn't because I don't know if I can even use it. I mean, no occasion at all. And it was too expensive (about PHP2,500 not including the stockings nor the underwear). Wala lang. Still thinking if I should buy it or not. *grins*

By the way, I showed it to hamey and he just smirked. Bwiset!

Bra Code

I got an e-mail from my friend about two weeks ago. It's about how the alphabets are actually used to define bra sizes.

HAHAHAHA!!!

Anyway, just would like to share this one. Before I got pregnant, I was I think a B (barely boobs). When I got pregnant, I got excited cause one of the perks of being pregnant is getting a bigger boobs (a C for me) but eventually, it will look like B again since the pregnant tummy is way bigger than the rest of the body. When I gave birth and started breastfeeding, I felt I was a D but then again, I don't have a flat tummy to have the D recognizable. And now, after about two weeks of weaning, I'm back to B again. Sayang! *grins*

By the way, I'm comparing myself to the pictures. The letters here are not the same as the one that we use in reality. I've never been a C or a D in my life.

Wailing Vera

Some kids don’t like water. Some refuses to take a bath. Well, not really refuse it but, they just don't like water. Period.

It’s different for Vera. She hates going OUT of the water. She cries after taking a bath because she doesn’t want to get out of her tub or the planggana. Actually, she doesn’t want to be rinsed. She knows she’s about to finish when her yaya (nanny) is about to rinse her. That’s how much she loves the water.

She loves swimming, she loves the beach, she loves the water. Looking forward to summer 2008!

Season to be jolly...

It’s the season to be jolly. Yes, eight days before Christmas. Are you done shopping for gifts for the parents, the in-laws, the hubby, the baby, cousins, nieces and nephews? O, don’t forget your godchild/godchildren, they might drop by. *grins*

This is the season to be jolly. Lots of sales, bargains and of course, buyers! When buying for presents, do you allot a budget or just buy anything you think they will like? When did you start buying for presents?

For those who are employed (specifically here in our country) gets a mandatory 13th month pay from the employer a month before Christmas. It’s different from a Christmas bonus and if you are one of the lucky people whose employer area generous and gives Christmas bonuses, then good for you. You may have enough money for the season. Some, of which I know, receives their 13th month pay in gives (sad but true). They have an option to get it on May instead of November (in time for school opening on June, for tuition fees you know).

Now a days, cash advance or payday loans can be availed thru banks, credit cards and even online. The advantage of payday loan is that you get the option of having money when you need it most. You don’t need to wait for the 15th or the 30th to have cash. Good news, right? Well, as technology gets better, options gets wider.

December Events

My friend is having her kid Christened today. She had difficulties getting a photographer as most of them are already booked, maybe since last year, for wedding events.

As far as I know, December is the marrying month here in our country. If you plan to have any event at this month, make sure you scout and reserve for suppliers ahead of time to get cheaper or discounted rates.

One of the supplies that's part of any celebration is the invitation. May it be a wedding, a Christening or a birthday, one needs to have either a simple or elegant invitation. It's your way to formally tell your guests about the event. It's your choice. I did ours on our own.

Vera has an early special gift this Christmas. Well, it hasn't come out yet but hopefully before Christmas. Will let you know (and will definitely post some pictures) when it comes out.

Win a Moor Allure Naturals from Beauty Bento Box

I am tempted to join joining an online contest for the first time and hopefully I'd be one of the three lucky winners. They are giving away a Moor Allure Naturals gift set. I'm not into beauty/facial products nor in the routine of going to the dermatologist for a monthly or regular facial skin care, but I do use some facial products and follow a daily routine to care for my skin particularly my face.

I started caring for my skin when I was in first year high school. My aunt notice that I have lots of pimples back then so she gave me a European product baby cream to try. It didn't work at first and I thought I was hopeless. Then I tried different soap for my face. It was a trial and error combination for the soap and cream. Now I'm settled with my Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser. And if I do win this contest, it's probably a sign that I need to try other products and give the rest of my baby cream to Vera, the real baby. *teehee*

the weaning chronicles aftermath

After a week of weaning, I'm now face with the problem of having a full and lumpy breasts. I know when I weaned Vera that it could happen. But for how long will it remain like this? I'm just concern with the lumps. I plan to go to my OB one of these days (pag hindi ako tinamad) since I also had my first period last month, after almost 2 years of not having one. *grins* Hopefully these lumps are nothing I should worry about.

Christmas Season

I forgot to blog about this.

After All Saints/Souls Day, we put up our Christmas Tree. When I was a kid, I would always ask my mom to let me put the star on top of the tree. It was like a tradition for me. I'd like to pass this simple tradition to Vera, so that's what I did last month. I assisted her in putting the star on top of our tree. Well, it really didn't happen that way, she was just looking at the star all the time. *grins*

Merry Christmas! 23 days to go!
