When I got pregnant 2 years ago, I was really hesitant to buy maternity clothes. I feel it’s really impractical since I’m not going to look “pregnant” forever. I only gained 20 pounds all through out my pregnancy, and only had to buy new clothes when I hit the third trimester. My options were to get bigger sizes or choose from plus size clothing from this department store near our place. In the end, I just bought 3 drawstring pants which I can wear even after I gave birth. So for my pregnant friends *wink* I suggest you buy something you think you can still wear after giving birth. Psyche yourself that you are going back to your previous built.

Have you tried using advertising pens in marketing your business? My aunt have tried using magnets, key chains, note pads, collared t-shirts and of course advertising pens. I love collecting different kinds of pens but do eventually throw them away when it does not have ink anymore, except if it is a Parker pen or Cross. *grins* This is also a nice give away like what my mom did last Christmas for Living Water. I haven’t had one good pen that I could actually keep for a long time. Well, I don’t use pens as often as before. I wonder why… :D

Look what I got Vera in eBay

I got Vera an Elmo toddler bed! The other design available is the Disney Princesses. We got Elmo instead since Vera’s more familiar with Elmo than the Princesses. We just hope Vera will sleep here. She’s still be staying and sleeping in our room beside our bed, beside me. Hopefully she’ll love this one.

I would love to go to different places given time and financial resources for a vacation. I have been to some countries in Europe (would love to go back there with hamey and Vera or hamey alone), states in the US and one other country in Asia.

Anyway, one nice place in the US I chanced upon the internet is the Hilton Head Island Resort which consists of three different communities. Forest Beach is a community that spans the oceanfront and properties located here have access to the beach and more than 100 shops and restaurants. Palmetto Dunes is a sports community. It’s a destination for golf, tennis and adventure lovers. And the oldest community in the island is the Sea Pines which is more into nature (forest preserves, lagoons and marshlands).

Among the three, I prefer to stay in Sea Pines Resort. If I’m going for a vacation, I’d rather stay where you feel you’re somewhere not in the city. You couldn’t possibly have a lagoon in the city, could you? If you’d like to check, go to Sea Pines rentals for available vacation homes, villas and condominiums. Bring me with you, okay?

Future Trip#1: Las Vegas

Hamey really liked to check Vegas casinos when we were in the US. But since we have a baby, it’s most likely not worth our money and time. Given that most hotel in Vegas have casinos and probably will not allow kids inside the premises, what are we (Vera and I) going to do while hamey tries to take a shot with whatever game he chooses? Perhaps next time when either Vera is big enough to go shopping with me or when we decide to travel alone without Vera (which I think won’t happen very soon) . *grins*
