Hamey really liked to check Vegas casinos when we were in the US. But since we have a baby, it’s most likely not worth our money and time. Given that most hotel in Vegas have casinos and probably will not allow kids inside the premises, what are we (Vera and I) going to do while hamey tries to take a shot with whatever game he chooses? Perhaps next time when either Vera is big enough to go shopping with me or when we decide to travel alone without Vera (which I think won’t happen very soon) . *grins*

For all those people who travels a lot, have you tried reserving hotels, motels, resorts or any accommodation thru the internet? Did you get hotel discounts for reserving or staying too long? Well, while I was trying to search the net for cheap hotel or vacation packages, I came across Hotel Reservations which offer special internet rates. I am looking for cheap rates for our Australia trip on our fourth anniversary (WOW, 4th year! Amazing! 26 years to go until our golden anniversary! *LOL*) since we plan to stay there for a week. And since we are planning a week’s vacation, we get to have a $30 (thirty US dollar) rebate which they will credit back to my credit card. Not bad at all. Actually, the longer your reservation or stay is, the higher rebates you get. As high as $100 (one hundred US dollar). They offer 70% (seventy percent) off on reservations made online or thru their 1-800 hotline. They seem to have hotel rates all over the world and not that to Australia or Asia only. And they also have options for flights reservations, car rentals and vacation spots in the United States, Canada, Europe and other countries.

I think we need more sites like this. It will give us more choices and more competitive price. Plus, we get to travel worry free since we can arrange everything thru the internet. Just be careful though since there are other bogus sites you might encounter. I am a little bit reluctant on using credit card or making transactions online since I was stricken by a phishing dude last year.

So anyway, if you are planning a trip, try searching the net for faster, cheaper transaction and worry free vacation. It should be, that’s why it’s called a vacation. CIAO!

I hate seeing blue screen that is. My laptop is blue screening on me again. It’s already my fourth for tonight. Bad trip talaga! I was working in Microsoft Word and haven’t had the chance to save it before I got the blue screen. I was 99% sure that when I open Word again, it will show me my auto recovered work. But noooooooooo, it wasn’t able to save some of what I’ve done, not a single word! The worst part is, I can’t remember anything from what I just wrote. *sigh!* The epidural is working on me again! grrrr…
