Hello blogging world! A little update on us.

Remember that I got sick 3 weeks ago? It lasted for about a week. It started with a sore throat, a fever then colds and a little coughing on the side. I think this is what caused Vera’s Viral Infection last week. Her fever never lasts more than 24 hours before. This got us worried plus the fact that her temperature’s average is on the high 38s. I was not a bit worried on the first 3 days but on the afternoon of the third day when yaya G called to tell me that they found a little streak of blood on Vera’s diaper, that got me worried and tensed! My initial reaction was she probably got UTI. It was a Tuesday and hamey and I are both at work. Tuesday means coding. Coding means we can’t leave not until pass 7 in the evening. Good thing I was able to talk to Vera’s Pediatrician and she just told me to bring Vera to the hospital for laboratory tests (Urinalysis and CBC). She was calm which helped me stayed calm for the rest of the day. I called Yaya J to prepare Vera’s stuff, we’ll go home to get Vera and bring her immediately to the hospital.

Vera was confined in the ER for about 3 hours since we waited for her to pee for the urinalysis. She’s the type of baby you wouldn’t suspect that something is wrong. She plays, sings and run from one end to the other end of the ER crib. Sabi nga nung Med. Tech., sana ganyan ka pa din kahit after kita kunan ng blood. *grins* She cried for a while, it seems that she has a high pain tolerance unlike me. Madaling mapatahan.

The result came positive for UTI. She was prescribed to take antibiotics by the ER Doctor. The following day, her fever reached 39. We plan to administer the antibiotic but she wouldn’t want to eat. So we just decided to bring her again to the ER. It says naman if fever reached 101F, bring to ER.

to be continued…

Yes! I am addicted to blogging. I’m here in Batangas having a vacation and yet here I am blogging! Well, when there’s an opportunity, there’s a need to blog! hahaha!!! *LOL* So there, you know what this post means *wink*

I got the chance to design a logo for my multiply site. Is it good or bad? I don’t really have a good eye for stuff like this. For me, the simpler the better. :D

Doing your own logo design is just simple.

- First step is to choose what type of company you have, in my term I see it as serious and formal, semi-formal and or funky. I choose mine as funky.
- Next is to choose the companies category. I choose children since most of the stuff I’m selling are for babies or kids.
- Next is to choose what kind of picture logo you want. I had difficulties on this one. There are lots to choose from!
- Then next is putting name with the picture logo.
- And lastly is the layout and colors of the logos.

That simple! I made mine in less than 10 minutes considering I had difficulties in choosing a picture logo.

Hello blogging world! We just came back from our 3 day stay in the hospital due to Vera’s Viral Infection. The initial diagnosis was UTI but good thing after they did a second lab exam, results came negative of any signs of UTI. *sigh of relief*

Will try to post again later, got to pack again for an overnight stay in Batangas. We’ll surprise my mom. (psst Lila, if you’re going to be able to read this before the event actually happens, MALAKING SECRET ITO HA! and I am trying to call you, kuntsaba sis, I need a kakuntsaba!)

Here’s what happened. I was brushing my teeth in the building’s common comfort room when suddenly this woman opened the toilet door with such effort that the door slammed in the wall making a loud sound. I looked at the direction and saw/caught the woman in the act of flushing the toilet… with her hands! I almost gagged at the site. What’s worse was, she did not wash her hands! And what’s even worst was that (are you ready for this?) she powdered her face using a loose baby powder, get the picture. Using her hand to put powder in her face! OMG!!!

Ok, for those who answered “Yes, what’s wrong with that”, here’s my take. Public toilets are not 100% or will never be 100% clean. I assume that when you use your hand when flushing is that you wash your hands after. My sister who’s a nurse taught me that after washing our hands, use a tissue to open the door.

And for those who doesn’t flush the toilet, Please!
