As I mentioned awhile ago, I already bought “the bag.”  Before the successful transaction, I had a bit of a problem that made me panicked and almost gave me a heart attack.  Ok, no, I just panicked.  I have a paypal account which was I intend to use in buying the bag.  The problem was, the site only accepts Paypal US, mine is a Paypal PH.  I tried using  hamey’s Paypal US account which is actually unverified.  He had it when we were still there in the US and probably, the reason why it was unverified was he already removed all pertaining data like credit card and bank account info from the said Paypal account.

Anyway, since it was unverirified, I can’t really make any purchases or at least a purchase from that site where I bought my bag.  I tried sending back the money but again, the problem was since the account was unverified, sending limit for that account is 0.00 and I can only lift the limit by entering a credit card info or in short, get verified.  OMG!  How the hell am I gonna do that!?!  so there I was last night, just staring at the monitor and wanted to cry. Pinaghirapan ko yung pera na yun!!!

The good news, from hamey’s account, I sent a request money to my account.  Upon receiving the request, I click pay to send the money to hamey’s account.  Hamey’s account can actually refund the total amount back to the one who sent the payment thru the details page of that transaction.  Thank God for that!  Muntik na talaga ako himatayin at makalbo!

Lesson learned, will not use hamey’s account ever again until it’s verified.  Kailan pa kaya yun?!

Yesterday morning, hamey got a call from Astoria Hotel letting him know that he just got a free dinner buffet for two at their hotel in Ortigas. Fast Forward. Off we go around 5:30 in the afternoon. But before we even reached Alabang, hamey decided not to go anymore, katamad since it’s really too far from us. Nagmukmuk ako since I dressed up for the occasion. *LOL* Not super dressed up naman, just not my ordinary get-up. So to make up for that, we just ate in ATC, my choice of restaurant. Sabi ko kahit saan basta hindi sayang get up ko :D

We ate at Crustasia which is previously Red Crab. It was not really a big deal date. I just consider it as an ordinary eat out until he threatened me that if I open my mobile phone one last time, he’ll throw it outside and let me pay for the dinner. Ganen! So that’s when I realized we are having a “date” *teehee* babaw no but it never happened in 11 years of being together. We just talked, reminisce and ate. It was not romantic but I enjoyed the night. It was even better compared to what happened to us last December. Kumain nga kami sa hotel for my birthday, after that naman we had a major fight. As in MAJOR! And nope, it’s not about the cellphone, hehehe.

If we went to Astoria we could have get the free 3days 2night stay in Boracay. O well, we could just probably check Barbados villa rentals.

I bought the bag already! Yipee!!! What bag? Will keep you guessing for a month for now. :D

Thanks to all those who voted, left comments and sent a YM message, greatly appreciated.

And last but definitely not the least, THANK YOU VERY VERY VERY MUCH TO MAMA MEE. ;) Kung d dahil sa yo, wala akong bag at bagong laruan :D *muah!*

21 days ago, my girl best friend introduced me to web hosting.  She got a new one and it was one good deal which I tried looking in to.  She told me the benefits of having your own site hosted specially since I already have my own domain for this blog.  It got me thinking and had to research about web hosts.  There are many to choose from and honestly, I was kind of hesitant to buy since it would mean shedding of more than hundred bucks for it plus the fact that I am new to this, I really have to look for reviews and coupon codes before taking the plunge.

Honestly speaking, one of the few web hosting rating sites I encountered was webhostingrating.com. It gives web hosting awards to web host companies. The best part was the web hosting tutorials. For someone like me, this could be a challenge. It is something new to me. Not that I am being mean but if a commerce graduate like my best friend can do it, what more for me who’s an IT graduate. The presumption is that we should be able to deal with this stuff without a glitch.

In the end, I choose to be with dreamhost. Why I ended up choosing dreamhost? One, it was the one introduced to me by my best friend. I just need to find reviews for the said host to at least know how they manage clients. Two, I think it was the cheapest considering what they offer prospective clients. Three, I got a coupon code for it (which I kinda lost now, sorry guys). Last but not the least, this has the least negative feedback I had found amongst the negative feed backs I found for other hosting sites with competitive packages.

I have been with dreamhost for about 19 days and fortunately, nothing bad has happened yet and hopefully there would be none in the future. I am enjoying the new found technology for my three blogs and on my own hosted photo gallery. Wish me luck! :)
