We celebrated hamey’s birthday yesterday with a simple gathering inviting two of hamey’s college friends, a colleague, my girl best friend, inay, my little-big sis, and my sister and her family.

Honestly speaking, I was surprised that hamey was in the mood to celebrate it with other people. His usual line was, his birthdays are not something special he always celebrates. So every year, it’s always part of our “dialogs,” I insist to have a pancit or spaghetti (for long life) and cake blowing ceremony, at least for Vera and he on the other hand, wants nothing actually.

This year though, about two weeks or so ago, we compromised that we’ll just have pancit and cake and that it’s just going to be an ordinary mirienda for the 5 of us here at home.

Tuesday afternoon, as I’ve said in my previous post, I got surprised by the fact that hamey was planning to have a simple handa at home, ika nga nya, nothing fancy.

It was indeed a simple party between close friends and family and the good thing was they enjoyed the food. All the while we thought, it wouldn’t be enough for all the people we invited.

Anyway, my family left before 10pm, his coleague stayed until around 11 I think and our college friends and my best friend stayed until 6AM the following day. It was a fun night talking about religion, eat bulaga vs wowowee, politics/taxes/sss, voltes v/diamos/astro boy and then last but not the least, relationships. Sayang, M was not there to join me and S against the guys. It was an interesting exchange of opinions between the girls and the guys. I hope this happens again, somehow I get to know more about the other species :D

And I was actually silently wishing that R and S would click, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Yun yun e! :D mEldita playing cupid again :D
