Vera loves Barney and was thinking of bringing her to watch Barney’s show live for the first time. How old were your kids when they first experienced and actually appreciated live shows like this?

Barney’s having a Dino-mite Birthday live on stage on several SM Cinemas starting this November. The show will only last for about 40 minutes at PHP1,450 for VIP seats, PHP930 for De Luxe and PHP590 for Premiere. You think 40 minutes will be all worth it for this amount of price?

Barney Dino-mite Birthday: Live On Stage showtime: 12 noon, 3:00 PM, and 6:00 PM

November 22-23 at SM North EDSA, Cinema 8
November 29-30 at SM Mall of Asia , Centerstage

Pagmulat ng mata, laging nakatawa sa…

Ito ang aming nasisilayan tuwing umaga sa aming tulugan, ang liwanag o sikat ng araw.

This is what we always see in our bedroom every morning, the rays of the sun.

Argh! I was feeling so weak for about two weeks and haven’t really done so much but just lie, sleep and eat. I even posted in one of my plurks that I am too tamad to do anything and that I must start doing something productive. But the body is so weak and might have been experiencing fatigue of sorts. I just came to conclusion that I was feeling stressed or fatigued because of my eye twitching. Hamey and I have been laughing about the stress/fatigue issue since really, what can have caused it? Hamey even suggested that I go see a doctor because of excessive sleepiness. Huh! funny!

And then it hit me! D@mn, I didn’t see the sign. Then I checked Yahoo Health to see if I was right and I found this:

When to Call a Doctor
Call your doctor about type 2 diabetes if you:

  • Are age 45 or older and you have never been tested for type 2 diabetes or you have not been tested in more than 3 years.
  • Are younger than 45, are at high risk for type 2 diabetes, and want to be tested.
  • Have one or more of the common symptoms of diabetes, such as increased thirst, frequent urination, increased hunger, unusual weight loss, or extreme fatigue.
  • Have other signs that you may have type 2 diabetes, such as wounds that are not healing well or frequent infections.
  • Have not been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes but notice symptoms of complications from the disease, such as:
    • Having burning pain, numbness, or swelling in your feet or hands.
    • Feeling dizzy or weak when you sit up or stand up suddenly.
    • Seeing flashing lights; seeing large, floating red or black spots; or seeing large areas that look like floating hair, cotton fibers, or spiderwebs.
  • Are overweight, get little or no exercise, and want help to reduce your risk for developing type 2 diabetes.
  • Have been told that your blood sugar level is above the normal range (prediabetes) and you want to know more about decreasing your risk for type 2 diabetes.

And I just remembered that my endocrinologist scheduled me for another OGTT this October as part of my routine blood sugar check-up since it’s been shooting up to prediabetes stage to normal since 3 years ago. D@mn! Talk about being Dory again! D@mn!

P.S.
People thought I was even pregnant! I’d rather be pregnant than sick! D@mn!

Uy, masyado atang maintirga ang dating ng aking title :D

No, I am not dating another guy. It’s just that, after maybe about two years, hubby and I found time to date again. Since we got back from the US, our “dates” were almost always here in ATC since we’re still adjusting on leaving the little princess behind. I can’t remember what was the first movie we watched but I do remember that we watched it after lunch and went straight home after the movie. I was always checking my phone for any messages from the yayas inside the movie house. And I was still breastfeeding Vera that time.

Anyway, tonight was a little different, we had our date at Makati. It’s a choice between Duo at Serendra or ClawDaddy at Boni High. Since there were no more seats available inside Duo, we opted for Clawdaddy instead. We had the Grilled Octopus Salad, Union Oyster House Fried Oysters and Friends, and Steak and Prawns. I had a ripe mango shake and hamey had bottomless lemonade which he said tasted like pineapple :D

What I like least amongst the food we ordered was the Union Oyster House Fried Oysters and Friends, nauumay ako, it was too oily for me. Good thing it was the last food served.

I can actually say that I was more adventurous tonight. It was actually my first time to eat Octopus tentacles. I don’t usually eat tentacles not even that of a squid! It’s also my first time to eat prawns again. I don’t usually like it but I tried it anyway. I like suaje better than the sugpo. Weird, but that’s just me. It was a bit of a wait but I was too happy to even notice. :D

I was suppose to get Mississippi Mud Pie for dessert but hamey opted to have the dessert somewhere else. So we tried Xocolat at Serendra. I had Original Sin Brownie ala Mode and Xtreme Xocolat and hubby forgot what he got, it was a dark hot chocolate drink. Honestly speaking, what I got was not something extra ordinary. There’s nothing about it that would make me want to go back for more.

And of course, this time, I didn’t forget to take some pictures. Good thing I always have my not so reliable camera phone. It died on me before I can even take a picture of hamey’s drink at Xocolat. Low batt na pala :D

We were out for about 4 hours only. My mom even actually asked me why we went home so early. Wala lang, dinner lang naman talaga though we were suppose to watch Max Payne or Igor but according to hamey, both movies didn’t get good reviews.

Sa uulitin! :)
