Diet Fad
Different kinds of dieting were resurfacing lately and two of which caught my interest, the Banana Diet and the Lemonade Diet.
I was intrigued how the Banana Diet could actually do wonders. Then a few days after, the Lemonade Diet was also brought up. This was the better option for me since I love calamansi and it can be use as substitute!
The Bananada diet goes something like you eat two bananas for breakfast and finish it up with a glass of room temperature water and one can eat anything for lunch and dinner.
A banana (or as many as you want) and room temperature water for breakfast; eat anything you like for lunch and dinner (by 8 p.m.). A three o’clock snack is okay, but no desserts after meals, and you have to go to bed before midnight.
The lemonade diet, also known as Master Cleanse, on the other hand is:
Drinking only lemonade made from fresh lemon or lime juice, maple syrup, water and Cayenne pepper. No solid food is eaten for the entire cleanse.
I decided to try the lemonade diet but will start it after my last PT session which is on March 27 meaning, this is a good chance for me to do fasting on holy week. At least now I don’t really have to resort to diet pills.
I have never heard a negative review about the lemonade diet. It seems that it works but after you are done with the routine and is back to normal eating habits, one has chances of gaining back all the weight plus more. So to prevent this, i will go back to the gym at the same time to maintain whatever weight I lost during the diet.
