Now that we are married, we seldom go on a date.  Well, my definition of a date is going out beyond our comfort zone which is the nearby mall or hotel.  Tonight, we ate at Apartment 1B in Makati.  I dressed casual but not my usual get-up.  Put on make-up and hop in the car.  Good thing there was no traffic at all.  We were just out for about 3 hours.  Even the yayas was astonished to see as get home early.

Me, I only wanted one before, an engagement ring.  But if someone gives me loose diamonds and let me make my own ring then good.  Who would resist right?  I know for sure I won’t.  But for the mean time, it’s not in my list of wants.  I don’t really want fancy things (shoes or bags) right now.  But I’d be happy to receive a new gadget for Christmas you know

The good news the postponed trip brings is that we are really going to try flying to * when the Vera’s a little bit older. The husband is more into going back to C but I insist on going to F since we’ve been and we’ve seen C. (more…)

We were planning for another short trip last week but decided not to go anymore and instead wait until the little princess is old enough to remember. She’d been traveling alot since she was born and we doubt she remembered all of them. Well, at least from our latest trip, she remembers her cousins from EU and that ride we had at the big ferris wheel at Prater. Not remembering she cried after mommy at Legoland when we rode the mini roller coaster. Not remembering she had fun at the super fast merry go round and every other kid and young-adult gave up going for a next round on that ride. Well at least she also remembers riding an airplane and watching some of her fave shows during our trip. (more…)

the other day, I received a mail with enclosed samples of hand painted cards and a calendar made by people with disabilities. Particularly those who paints using their mouth and feet. It’s actually nice and a nice gift to give this holiday season. This way, we are able to help their association with our generosity. But since it’s more convenient for me to shop online, I prefer ordering it thru it. Bad news is, that’s not possible for now. Either I send in cash or a money order. Honestly, I don’t feel safe doing it this way so I end up not ordering. Too bad, I hope they will eventually have a website where we can place our order and pay online. (more…)
