The little princesses spelling capability quite improved tonight.  This is how she was last week:

me: Spell Mel
Vera: mel. mmmmeeellll… M.  Mmmmmeeeeellll. L!!! ML!
me: (waaaaahhhh, text lingo! Let’s try again) Spell Jon.
Vera: jon. jjjjjoooonnnn… J. Jjjjjjooooonnnnn. J. N!!!
me: (nya! Text lingo talaga!)

So I tried it again awhile ago.

me: what’s this (pointing to a picture of a jar)
V: jar.
me: spell jar.
V: jar.  jjjjjjaaaaaarrrr. J. jjjjjjjaaaaaarrrrr. A. jjjjjaaaarrrrrr. A. R.
me: (oh no! sumobra naman! better luck next try )
