On our way home (from school):

V: mommy, I will call Nathan (on the phone)
M: do you know Nathan’s number?
V: No.
… conversation goes on…
M: girls don’t call boys. Let Nathan call you first (as if naman…)
V: why?
M: (pano ko ba to epxlain) that’s the way it is, girls don’t call boys. boys call girls (and or boys) :D
V: ok

When we got home…

V: (getting something from her back pocket) look mommy what Nathan gave me…
M: (OMG! it’s a heart shaped paper with Vera’s name!) *himatay*

My little princess was assigned to be a dog for their Noah’s Ark mini program.  Instead of buying a new costume, I just bought felt paper and made her an instant Dalmatian costume.  I also checked the internet for face paint ideas and thus the eyebrow and hanging tongue.

Can’t believe it!  Next school year, the little princess is officially in Nursery! WOW!  Time really flies so fast.

I received a phone call from Teacher Van telling me that Vera felt dizzy at school at around 9:45 this morning. Since she is still recuperating from what happened to her last Sunday. I got a bit worried since she never really felt dizzy the last time she got sick. And what do you know. When I got there and asked her if she’s ready to go home, she told mes she’s not and still wants to stay in school. Naglalambing lang pala :P

After class and on our way home, I asked her what happened. She told me that she got dizzy after dancing in school. Ay sus! Next time, I’ll ask the teacher first before hurrying up to school again. :P

Christmas break for the little princess officially started today. They had their Christmas Program presentation this morning at Alabang. Though she hardly participated, she was better than the other kids who either cried on stage or was physically present but did not totally showed up for the entire program. Well, it was Vera’s first time to perform in front of a crowd and I guess it was same thing for the other kids. (more…)
