I got shocked from the information I got awhile ago.  There was a party at Vera’s school and I learned that Vera had Sprite.  OA na kung OA but you see, I don’t let her drink softdrinks or iced tea even those that are diluted with water.  She’s too young for that.  Don’t get me wrong, I love softdrinks.  When I start drinking coke/sprite, I can never stop. That’s why I don’t order colas specially those which offers refillables, I know I won’t be able to control it.

I can’t remember at what age I started drinking cola.  And I think for some pwedeng sabihin ngayon lang naman. Most often than not, kids who are given a choice between coke/sprite/water and juice, which do you think kids who’ve tried colas (specially those who thinks it’s good) will choose?

Basta, nag iinarte ako!  Why didn’t they just give the kids orange/pineapple juice?  Jollibee has pineapple and orange juice, right?  Well, I guess hubby’s right.  According to him: not every parent thinks of those details like I do.  Sige na nga, tama na rant.  hmp!

and to my dismay, it’s open already!

Well, DHL made a very bad impression. And I am hating my decision over this one. I should have asked LBC if they can deliver my documents the following day. But since I also had a bad impression with their personnel (from 3 different branches!) I never attempted asking even if they were walls apart from 2Go where I stopped and asked.

I have a document that my mom needs to sign ASAP. Went to SM yesterday in a rush just to have it delivered on time.

Went to Fedex first but unfortunately, they can’t guarantee that my documents will arrive the next day. So off I go to 2Go and got the same answer. Skipped LBC which was right beside 2Go. Then I saw DHL, asked and got a positive answer. Asked the lady in charge about a dozen of time and she assured me that it will arrive the following day (supposedly today). Plus mom can sign the documents and have it delivered back to me the following day (which is tomorrow). But since they broke their promised service, the latest I can get those documents is on Friday. That is if my mom gets those documents by tomorrow.

NAKAKAINIS!!!! Thank goodness their hotline is until 8pm only. If they’re available 24 hours then they will definitely here something from me.

Actually, I already emailed and told DHL that their service sucks big time!

I can’t help but post this rant here which is supposedly a feel good blog.

Anyway, we had our interview at the Austrian Embassy this morning and we were on time, meaning we were there before 8:30 in the morning. Our schedule was 9AM but were told by the call center agent to be there by 8:30AM! Aba isipin mo, d pala sila nagpapa akyat hanggang walang go signal from the embassy! Fre@k!n call center agent! We had to stay outside the building for 30 minutes. I won’t mind if I was the only one waiting for the “call time” but Vera was with me together with my sister’s kids. Pinoy talaga! Simple notice d pa magawa!

At last! After 30+ minutes, we were called to go up. Hay salamat naman! Ones we got inside the  Austrian Embassy, we were given instructions to fix our documents and make sure that we completely and accurately filled up the application form. I was the first one called among the three of us. I am not sure if I was the first applicant but the interviewer is super sungit! And mind you, he’s a guy and he’s PINOY! !@#@#$#$% Ano bang problema ng mga pinoy in embassies (and in other countries) at sa kapwa pinoy e ang susungit nyo!? (Crab Mentality perhaps!?) Pinoy talaga!

I was tempted to ask that rude pinoy what his problem was at napaka sungit nya! Hindi ba nya naisip na ang sweldo nya e galing sa mga binabayad ng mga aplikante! Buti pa yung Austrian Consul, all smiles even if we never had the chance to talk to him. Even American Consuls have better personalities than some of the Pinoy ones who works for an Embassy.  You kissed ass people, you smile at foreigners pero sa kapwa nyomga orokan!

By the way, a simple praise for the 2 policemen who we saw in the embassy.  They were actually nice.   They were actually the first policemen in Manila I ever encountered who really seem to be genuinely nice.  Even nicer to that simple mamayan interviewer we encountered!  Hindi naman sa panlalait, but between the policemen and the interviewer, I expected the policemen to be more angasin!

that this blog will never contain negative thoughts or the likes but I just can’t help it. Just this once and I’ll never probably do it again.

Most of you know that most people into blogging are also in to blogging business. I am one of them and it has been great for me since I joined a year ago. I’ve earned enough from this and I am glad I did. But because of unseen circumstances, like having the unwanted insurance I was forced to sign (not acutally buy since initially I was not the one who bought it. Lets just say that when the term life insurance quotes were presented, it doesn’t really mean I have a choice. It’s a very long story why I have it in the first place but the short version of it is, I am to pay for the remaining 2 annual payments for the said insurance.

Why can’t just people say no and accept no as an answer. Before I forget, this is not my first life insurance. And I had no budget for this one when it was presented to me that’s why I decline but the oldies insisted. Tigas naman kasi ng ulo e!

The rant? Well, I can’t truly enjoy my blog earnings since I am saving it up for this. Good thing I was able to buy myself a new laptop for it. I just hope, the blogging business will continue to bloom this year.
