We arrived early Wednesday last week and I got the chance to see my mom’s new store. I was a tindera (sales lady) for the whole time I was there. Well, except last Saturday. It was my day-off. *LOL*

Vera, on the other hand, loves roaming around the building. Going from mama’s store to her papa Unyot’s office next door to the other end of the building. She usually likes being with her papa Unyot and I let her be. Naglalalmbing.

One time, she had a mini concert at the second floor of the building, singing her heart out to our delight. Just needed to applaud her to make her continue and sing more. What a performance!

Then on Saturday, we watched Madagascar 2 at SM Batangas City together with her kuya-tito Aaron, ninang L and suitor L (uy, L-L… bagay kafatid! meant to be? hehehe). It was her first movie and I think it’s not the time yet. What she enjoyed about the experience though was the popcorn. *pft*

We went home after the movie but stopped by Jollibee first for some feast. Bought 1 bucket of chicken joy, spaghetti for kuya Aaron and palabok for me and Vera. Guess what!? Vera ate all the palabok and only left a kapiranggot piece for me. Takaw!

Oh, before the movie, we went swimming that morning. Vera loves swimming! Walang makakapigil even if kagatin sya ng isda! It was also her first time to submerge in the water. I did not do it, I let yaya J do it. I can’t and I might not ever do it. she didn’t cry but she doesn’t want to repeat the experience. Maybe next time with dada.

Nothing more first happened. Until our next vacation.

Anyway, I am here in the province taking some time off. Taking some time off?! As if I am a busy working mom/wife/woman! I’m here for so many reasons.

One. I was not able to come here during undas (All saint’s/soul’s day) and I plan to visit my dad and other dead love ones before Monday.
Two. To get some tan at the beach, hopefully by tomorrow.
Three. To check out my mom’s sari-sari store. I’ve been her tindera (sales lady) since Wednesday and tomorrow is my day-off. *LOL*

Hubby and I left home as early as 9AM to avoid traffic in SLEX and find a parking space at Megamall easily.  There was already a queue even if it was only 15 minutes before 10AM. Why? Well, because today marks the second day of the Toy Kingdom Warehouse Sale in Megatrade Hall and I was really looking forward to going there. Boy I was surprised at how many people were there looking for good buys. Unahan at agawan sya! My gulay!

Hubby was not with me while I look for stuff for Vera and for my inaanaks (godchildren). And since I found cheap toys, I called my mom and asked her if she wants some for her store. If she was with me, I bet she gets to buy more stuff than me.

Anyway, Toy Kingdom didn’t have a system inside and there were big carts everywhere with limited space to maneuver. Siksikan ever! And since some items were limited, there must be two of you shopping for items, one looking at the cart and one looking for stuff. Mahirap na, baka masulutan. It’s like holding on to dear life ang drama!

It was really hard to maneuver inside, suko ako! But at least I was able to buy for all my godchildren, I’m done with my Christmas shopping for the kids. *woohoo!*

After the Toy kingdom experience, we went to Shangri-La Plaza to have lunch. OO, dinayo namin ang Mandaluyong because of two things, the sale and Green Tomato!

I first got to know of Green Tomato when my company’s office transferred in Philam Life Tower along Paseo de Roxas in Makati. They got a very delicious pasta and pizza selection. They only have two branches, the one in Makati and one in Shangri-La Plaza. I ordered my ever favorite Chili Calamari and a Personal Four Cheese Pizza. YUMMY!!!! Sulit na ang dayo ko! (I miss you Phine! *naks*)

We were suppose to watch Madagascar but hubby insisted on Quantum Solace instead. We have plans of watching both but I thought today is Madagascar day. *pft* Ok na rin but I was not able to watch the first Daniel Craig James Bond movie so I was not familiar with what happened there. Ay, enough na. I might say something which I was not suppose to say.

By the way, we had 1 hour to spend before the movie starts so we went window shopping. We passed by Debenhams which was actually having a sale. I was looking for a gift for my mom along the high end stores but didn’t find anything for her. Instead, we bought something for the little princess. Ang tatay, hindi din nakapigil when he saw this cute little skirt. So we ended up buying one pink pants and one ruffled mini skirt for the little princess which we intend to give on Christmas.

And before we left Megamall, I passed by Line Uomo which was also on sale on some items. Nope, I didn’t get anything from the store, most shoes they are selling are boots. Aanhin ko naman yun dito sa Pinas no!?

Well, I didn’t end up empty handed. I was able to buy a skirt on sale at Samuel and Kevin and I plan to use it in this one event which I am excited to attend. Sana matuloy
